an entertaining Sci-Fi/ mystery tale with plenty of hi -tek, December 28, 1996
By A Customer
The book is wellw ritten, with some rather interesting characters.
Greenthieves' main characters include two robots Moses and the Minder
which both have a growing self awareness. This provides some
interesting situations, but is not fully explored. The plot
is not thin, and does leave one wondering at times exactly
"who done it".This is one of the things that kept me reading through
to the end.Greenthieves is not the type of book where you
ponder over the next move of the characters or the villain, from the
book's beginning you're preetty sure what the "bad guy" will do
next. You either read the book because you enjoy the rather
linear storyline, and the characters presented, or you put it
down because of the minder's sometimes interrupting and
annoying narration:).
