I had ordered the Greenworks 16inch Snow Thrower and overnighted it. We're in South Dakota in the middle of a three day blizzard and I was sick and tired of snowing. It came 2 hours ago. I had it put together and outside working within 15 minutes. It actually took me longer to put my snow pants on. I have a 2 1/2 car driveway and I live on a corner lot so I have a lot of pavement to clear. We (my niece and I) got the entire area cleaned in an hour. We are talking around 15 inches of snow, and 10 inches of it was 3 days old. The snowthrower had no problem clearning anything and didn't catch on the pavement and did everything I wanted it to do! The best part was it started every single time with no problems at all. I used to have a huge gas powered snow blower that had all kinds of gears and reverse, and I have to say I prefer the Greenworks handsdown!

I found that this blower is difficult to move forward. It seems to hangup on the scraper and will not move easily even on smooth concrete. It seems that there is to much downward force from the handle.

Purchase the Greenworks 26022 and received in 5 days with free shipping - even with inclement weather holding it back. The snow thrower came in excellent shape and was very easy to assemble. The whole lower unit was ready out of the box only had to assemble the handles and the directional vane control. We have a lot of left over snow outside (8 inches) from our last snow fall so I went out this morning and made the paths wider. No problem at all even with wet snow and a little ice. Found the thrower easy to move around and is very well balanced. I was even able to tilt it up and make a couple of passes with the 8 inches still on the ground. This should really help my back out. This model will work out perfectly for our needs. It seems to have very good power. I will make quick work of 6 inches of fresh snow. Very well built. We are scheduled for another snow storm in 4 days so now no big deal for me.

Works great on even heavy icy snow--clears nicely! Only small difficulty was inserting the extension plug into the machine's housing when the housing was cold--tight fit. Otherwise just perfect for clearing walks & drives--a great little machine at a very reasonable price! This is a great 'back-saver'--beats hand-shoveling. Thanks, Greenworks! Don't know why this product doesn't have a five star rating. I have a huge deck 25'X50' plus a metal roof ,that dumps snow for days after a storm. I have shoveled this for years. Now I don't shovel any more. It's just like mowing the lawn, wet snow,,lite snow,,Icey snow,,It does the job, I love it and my back really loves it. Thanks GREENWORKS, Thanks AMAZON

I love this snow shovel, it works wonderfully. I have not tried it in deep, wet snow because the reviews I read before I bought it stated it did not work well in those conditions but I did use it when we had a few inches of the wet kind and it worked great. It is a breeze with the light fluffy stuff. Have recommended it to several friends.

Our first snowfall was in October and it worked really well and it was a wet snow . Like everyone else said I wouldn't use it on ice because the augers are heavy plastic and it might not handle it but in fresh snow it worked fine . Good buy.

We purchased this snow thrower this winter. We live in a rural area and must depend upon ourselves to clear the snow in our long drive way. We also use our deck as access to our house so we bought this snow thrower to do the deck with. When it arrived were very pleased with it, it is very light weight, so on days or nights were we expect snow we are easily able to bring it into the back porch. We have a very long electrical cord and can go a considerable distance from the house with it. It starts instantly and moves the snow easily. We have used it in 3-4 inch snow falls without any problems. We also have a large snowblower and a medium sized one..but my husband said that this little one is so easy to use that he prefers to use this one on the smaller snow falls. It lets us easily clear the deck, and do the walkways to the garage, even going across the grassy area to clear a bath to the bird feeders... works great.. no complaints and would easily recommend it to others for light weight snow removal for for deck and porch clearing.

I was looking for a power shovel and received this one for Christmas. It was pretty easy to assemble. When I first started using it, I was having difficulty pushing it forward--I think because there was a little ice under the snow. However, once I got used to it, it worked great. I did use my foot on the bar by the wheels to help it forward a few times, but for just being a "power shovel," not a snowblower, it does a great job.

First saw this advertised on a t.v. show. Checked with Amazon and they had it. Ordered it, delivery was quick - in time for a small snow event about 4 inches. So easy to attach handle pieces. It worked very well clearing our 4 car driveway and sidewalk. Definitely beats using a shovel!! Good buy! Recommend!
