This bad-boy will trim and blow my 1/4 acre lawn no problems, and no hurrying.

Its so much better to do the job in one charge than to juggle two girlie-man batteries and always have a little nag in your head worrying about when its going to die.

The charge indicator is great too, fast, and for battery enthusiasts, more convenient in the field than carrying a multi-meter to check voltage (a decent indication of charge level).

Its cheaper to maintain one li-ion and replace it years down the road rather than two, as li-ion chemistry loses capacity a little year after year whether its used or not.

In the winters I will run the battery to a 40% charge and keep it in a ziplock in the refrigerator to store. Have a read at battery university dot com for more info on battery chemistries.

This charger was purchased as the second of three items needed to make my Greenworks blower operable. It works great, charges quickly and the little LED readout to show the power level left in the battery is very cool.

HINT: Before deciding on your first Greenworks product, remember to consider the actual price to be the base tool (blower, edger, etc.) for $40.00, PLUS a separate Lithium Battery ($120.00 for the extended life battery) PLUS a separate Battery Charger for another $40.00). So, if you don't yet have any Greenworks products you are into the complete setup for about $200.00 (PLUS any shipping charges). Ay, Carumba!

This battery size is big enough to finally make the garden cordless tools powerful enough to be useful! Identical with one made by Troybilt.

worked great for about 3 or 4 months. Stored it through the winter an got it out of my closet this spring an it want hold a charge. I paid a lot of cash for the battery an weed eater made by greenworks. I've done a web search an could not find the company, all the web seach had was places you can buy it an the warranty naturaly was out. If you buy this piece of crap you've been told

Works great when charged, but let it sit for a week or 10 days, the battery has zero charge...dead! Be sure to get the quick charger!!!

The battery and the associated string trimmer and blower work very well together. The issue is battery life. The first two months the battery charged properly. Since that time, it shows a full charge after charging, but the charge only lasts a few minutes. I have contacted Greenworks customer support and have not received any reply.

Ordered leaf blower and this battery to go with as their products do not come with battery. The total of battery and blower an expensive price for a leaf blower but was hoping it was a good product and might, in future, purchase other products compatible with battery. Battery comes without a charger. When I called the company, they said the charger would be an additional $30 something dollars. That was the straw. I returned blower and battery. This company is aptly named "green" works as it takes lots of green to buy their products.

I ordered this rechargeable battery along with the blower and charger last spring. Due to circumstances beyond my control I did not get around to trying it out until months after the guarantee had run out and unfortunately the battery wouldn't hold a charge for more than 5 minutes or so. Figuring I was probably out of luck, but unhappy because it wasn't cheap, I wrote to Amazon and told them what had happened. The customer service at Amazon was very gracious and offered me a free exchange. I have received my new battery and am enjoying using my blower this fall. The Amazon service department was a pleasure to deal with and I truly appreciate it.

This is a great product, and I love being able to blow leaves without worrying about a cord. The battery should come with the charger, though, I was surprised when I got the battery I had to turn around and find the charger!

This battery is roughly the weight of the totally useless Black & Decker nicad battery. The comparison stops there. Whereas the B & D would run my former blower, weed whacker, pole trimmer etc for a minute or two this bad boy Greenworks battery doesn't know when to say "uncle". Even the Worx tools with their lithium ion batteries that replaced the seriously lame B & D's are no match for the Greenworks. I now have a Greenworks pole trimmer, blower and weed whacker. The Greenworks battery runs them all with power and longevity. I expect a hedge trimmer to be delivered today and that will be a serious test as well.
