5.0 out of 5 stars Green "really" Works
This product has the EPA seal of approval for the Design for the Environment meaning that it is "safer" (but not necessarily safe) chemistry. Like many other natural cleansers, it contains a coconut based cleaning agent, but it is the first one I've seen that has corn based ethanol in it. I have mixed feelings about that considering the controversy over production costs...

3.0 out of 5 stars This product cleans glass "ok"
I live in AZ, where it's hot and the dashboards outgas, leaving a "fog" on the window.
This is the test I put my glass cleaners through.
This glass cleaner actually upset me and I had to pull over and use newspaper to try to get rid of the streaks.
It might work in some environments, on some glass, but not in Arizona on windshields!

This product has the EPA seal of approval for the Design for the Environment meaning that it is "safer" (but not necessarily safe) chemistry. Like many other natural cleansers, it contains a coconut based cleaning agent, but it is the first one I've seen that has corn based ethanol in it. I have mixed feelings about that considering the controversy over production costs and environmental impact of producing corn ethanol. However it does not have any phosphates or bleach, or from the listed ingredients ammonia. It cleans glass windows perfectly-no streaks and it has a light lemon scent that dissipates quickly. With the current coupon it makes the price point comparable to other natural window cleansers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Green skeptic won over, January 23, 2009

I'm generally a huge skeptic of "green" products as historically I've found that they just don't work well and they cost too much. Greenworks Glass and Surface Cleaner Spray is a definite exception. I really like it. I use it to clean mirrors, chrome, counter tops, etc and it does a great job. I'm happy to go "green" where it makes sense to do so as long as the product works and doesn't cost too much. This product definitely qualifies in both categories. Seventh Generation pales in comparison.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Cleaner!, January 27, 2008

I just stocked up on the full line of Clorox's new products. They all work wonderful. They have a great smell, great on hands and clean really, really well. The glass cleaner cleaned my windows without any streaks and they are sparking now!
