One of my favorite knitting books,

I purchased this book about two years ago and have enjoyed it immensely. I am working on a hoody sweater that looks like an item from
the J.Jill catalog. Also on my project list is a beautiful shawl and elegant "French" skirt. This is a fun book to own . . . I think you will enjoy. Marcia in Phoenix

This book is beautifully produced and has great patterns. A nice range of projects, from a baby sweater, knee socks and more complicated designs.

"Arrived on time & in excellent condition. A+ experience w/ bookseller BLACK FLY MEDIA. I highly recommend this bookseller when purchasing used books. My low star rating applies to the book content only.
Too much of her life story, the construction and design of her shop, and ta-daaa!... the subsequent promotion of her shop, as well as dozens of pictures of happy strangers. Typical "Riches To Riches" story. Wealthy Hollywood woman opens shop / hires designers / writes book / makes even more money. Would like to have seen the pages filled with patterns instead. But thank goodness I now have a dress pattern for the Academy Awards. Whew. I had no idea what I was going to wear!" Even so, I really tried to like this book. I squinted my eyes and attempted to will myself into creating SOMETHING out of it to justify my investment. The "Recycled Scarf" is tempting but most likely the book will be recycled first. But to be fair... The baby sweater pattern is very sweet - so much so that I wish it also came with adult-sized instructions. I love wrap-around garments. The lace skirt pattern is also eye-catching even though one should weigh approximately 97 lbs to carry it off. And she does offer several great physical exercises for knitters at the end. We often get so wrapped up in our work that we forget to stretch. Kudos to her for including this section. If you love jewelry, but you're not a Hollywood starlet, or cannot afford Erica Courtney's jewelry which is advertised in the book, may I suggest visiting Blue Sky Studio Art @ <...>. There you will find artful jewelry pieces and functional art suited to everyone's budget. Hollywood starlets also welcome! :-)

I am very disappointed. I ordered this book a month ago, and received notification just before Christmas that there were some weather problems at Heathrow airport which might cause a delay, but I STILL have not received the book as of January 18th. I had hoped to give it as a gift for someone's birthday at the end of December, but have given her an alternate gift instead. Still waiting...
