The Real Heroes<-- real good, August 17, 2005

Okay, I couldn't resist when I saw a box full of these ABIA no-name CDs selling for ten cents apiece at the local Goodwill. I'm a DJ at a college radio station, so I'm always on the hunt for new stuff. Sometimes I'm not that lucky (like with the JJ & the Foreign Cowboys? HORRIBLE, but admirable attempt), but the first track I heard on this CD was... it was cool. It's jumpy, fun rock reminiscent of the Ramones, David Bowie, Devo, and the like. I'm only giving it 4 stars because this is only their first record. Another album like this or better, and I'll be a full-fledged fan! So, give it a listen, y'all. So at least you can say you were listening to these guys since before they hit mainstream.
