Outstanding work
I'm giving this book "5" stars because of who the modeler is, but I thought more detail on the planning of Greg's dioramas and the actual steps involved in making his dioramas should have been published; this information would have been very helpful to me and other master modelers. Greg Cihlar's work is the most impressive I've ever seen. Greg is exceptional...

Mediocre Book
Greg Cihlar's Fabulous Military Diorama's is a suprisingly average publication. What you get with the book is bright, fancy color pictures, but very little substance. There is little detail on the planning of the diorama's and the actual steps involved in making the diorama's. In a nutshell, the book is a advertisement for Verlinden Products.

I'm giving this book "5" stars because of who the modeler is, but I thought more detail on the planning of Greg's dioramas and the actual steps involved in making his dioramas should have been published; this information would have been very helpful to me and other master modelers. Greg Cihlar's work is the most impressive I've ever seen. Greg is exceptional in his craft. His skin tones are the best I've ever seen where many modelers skin tones are yellow or orange. His weathering is excellent. His composition and groundwork are outstanding. The balance of his dioramas is very well thought through. Greg has a very special talent and I hope he goes very far with his craft.
