5.0 out of 5 stars real music from back in the days, September 30, 2004
This review is from: Gregg Diamond's Disco Tech (Audio CD)
This album is a rare treat to those who know anything about the disco era. You have to have a great deal of appreciation for those artists that who struggled to be heard and had a good time accomplishing a beat that everyone can still enjoy for years to come. It's the reason why artist today can't begin to comprehend what real music is all about.

1.0 out of 5 stars Good Tracks Poor Quality!, December 8, 2005

This review is from: Gregg Diamond's Disco Tech (Audio CD)
Although at face value this looks like a great compilation of hard to come by Gregg Diamond material, be warned that the quality of this CD is truly awful. It sounds as if it has been remastered in a garden shed!
For the price this CD now commands you would be far better off buying the original vinyl and having it professionally remastered.

2.0 out of 5 stars Love Gregg Diamond, But Lousy Production Values, January 29, 2007

This review is from: Gregg Diamond's Disco Tech (Audio CD)
I agree with one of the previous reviewers on the production of this CD. The songs were recorded directly from vinyl without any re-mastering. You can hear the tracking of the needle on the record. Also, it sounds like it was recorded in a tin room. Not worth the asking price.
