5.0 out of 5 stars It works!
I read this book 3 times so as to try as best as I could to get it right. Though I made some mistakes and could not keep the discipline I needed. I still was able to have a winning night at the Trump Marina. I will read it again and again because this system or strategy as the author calls it, seems to work.

1.0 out of 5 stars this book has no backup
do not buy this book please!!! I thought it looked great and I have read a lot of blackjack books, and I can say out of about 20 this one is the worst. please stick to the basic books, anything by wong, or KO blackjack, blackbelt in blackjack, or anything by a respectable author. If you want to hear someone yammer on about the different places to eat in las vegas, this...

5.0 out of 5 stars Blackjack Practitioner, November 27, 2003

Having read books by some noted authors such as Edward Thorpe's "Beat the Dealer", Peter Griffin's "Theory of Blackjack", Stanford Wong's "Basic Blackjack" and others. I can say that this author has come up with a completely original strategy geared totally towards Multiple Deck Blackjack. As with all Blackjack systems and or strategies it requires dedicated discipline. I found the book and the strategy good enough to put it into play with amazing results. I give this book and author my highest recommendation!!

5.0 out of 5 stars mark aponte, November 8, 2003
This review is from: Gregorian Strategy For Multiple Deck Blackjack (Paperback)
Gregory Mannarino's blackjack book is a must read for all serious blackjack players. His style is a stategic attack when the dealer is most vulnerable based on probability and statistics. The key is to manage your money and exhibit discipline according to his advice. If done accordingly, you can't lose.

5.0 out of 5 stars Only book I have read on blackjack with anything new to say, December 3, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Gregorian Strategy For Multiple Deck Blackjack (Paperback)
There seems to be a lot of contorversy over this book, and perhaps some of the reviewers should stick to doing reviews on THE BOOK instead of attacking the writer, but in all fairness, this book is the only book on blackjack that I have ever read that has something differerent to say about the game. I have not tried out this new strategy yet in the casinos but practicing at home with 2 decks shuffled together and after about 20 hours of play I am winning, in fact I am over the theoretical win rate that the author states in the book of 1% with Atlantic City rules. Personally, in my opinion, this book is one of the best or possibly the best, simply by the nature of it offering us a new look at the game, book on blackjack on the market.

I am the author of this book, and I am specifically writing this review in response to the next review titled "show me the money." You obviously have NO KNOWLEDGE about this "game" do you.. You can run off one hundred trillion hands on any blackjack simulator on this Earth and you will not get a accurate indication of how a particular strategy will perform under fire and here is why: The computer no matter what standard rules you may feed into it cannot determine one critical factor: the fact that the probabilities in blackjack ARE NOT CONSTANT! As the game is played out, the probilities constantly change rendering old basic strategy impotent. My strategy which is in this book is the first "strategy" ever devised for the game of blackjack that takes this into consideration. There are 2 crucial factors for the development of a blackjack strategy. The first is the mathematical probabilities, the second is the fact that these probabilities are not constant. The execution/combination of those two factors in concert is what makes my strategy work. So you stay in your house and run off all the simulations that you want, they are meaningless, I will be in the casinos making money. Perhaps you want to take me up on my challenge on page 21 of my book? Use ANY system that you want versus mine. So Mr. Show me the money..Lets go, put up or shut up. Contact me through the publisher..

Wrote my first review on Sept. 23. Since then I have read this book twice more for a total of 5 times and have played 8 more sessions. With discipline being the key I have had 7 of 9 winning sessions. A MUST have book is my recommendation!

4.0 out of 5 stars Shocking!, October 25, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Gregorian Strategy For Multiple Deck Blackjack (Paperback)
I have bought every blackjack book on the market, this is the only one that has something DIFFERENT to say. No one else in my circle of blackjack friends can verify the authors statistics, but they seem to have validity to me.

There is some confusion in the book however. The written explanation of what to do with A7 against a 2 or A says stand. However, the chart says hit.

Other than that one issue I have with the book, I would highly recommend it.

I have been playing blackjack for a few years now, and have read quite a few books claiming to make you money and most of them are for the birds. But this book has actually made me money! My thanks to the author!
