I am a happy camper.

The pack is very comfortable and can hold a lot of gear -- probably too much gear if you know what I mean.

Because of this pack, I am now dedicated buying to Gregory Packs only, period.

so, i got the Gregory Baltoro 70 about 2 years ago for a hike along the Lost Coast. i have to say, this is the best pack i have ever used.

Pros:
-extraordinarily durable
-large capacity
-water-bladder pouch is highly useful
-multiple compartments large enough for all that you need (one on each side of main compartment, one on the top flap, one on the front)
-the main compartment is large and divided into the top section and the lower (which can be accessed by a separate flap), but if you only want to have it have one HUGE compartment, you can unhook the cloth divider and have more space available
-very comfortable
-EXTREMELY adjustable
-lots of compression straps to cinch everything down

cons:
-none at all

in all honesty, this is a great pack. yes, it's expensive, but it is WELL worth the money. it can carry all that you need and more, stays comfortable even after days of hiking, and will last for years without any problem.

overall, a great product

Love the space and accessibility. Very comfortable and durable. External pockets make quick access a breeze, and the bottle holder is a must-have!! Best pack I've ever owned by far!!

This pack is absolutely stunning. Perfectly designed for maximum storage space. The main compartment stretches from top to bottom with plenty of quick stow-away pockets throughout the pack. Great. Because of this pack, I am now dedicated buying to Gregory Packs only, period.

I have done a one week backpack trip in the High Sierra every year for the last 30 or so years. I finally broke down and got a Gregory. By far the most comfortable pack I've ever used. Something about the suspension of the waist belt. It conforms to your hips and distributes the weight evenly so there are no hot spots. As others have said, I wish the mesh pockets on the front of the waist belt were a little larger, but that's about the only criticism I can think of. Love it.

This bag has it all. Well built, pockets everywhere. And super easy to adjust while walkin. Not the lightest bag, but I carry a lot so needed something that could take it. Good for my back.

Its perfect!Im 6ft 170lbs and I bought the medium size.Ive stuffed and strapped up to 75lbs of gear in this and hiked up peaks up to 13k,and I have not one regret about this purchase.I threw everything I had at the Baltoro, and nothin! The Baltoro is very durable. It dries quick, cleans easy, straps stay put,no hot spots,no seam tears, hips and back felt great and the padding was great.plenty of seprate storage in and outside on the Baltoro 70,and good zippers all the way around.Be sure to size it before you buy.I tried mine on at Cabelas and the medium worked best for me.
