Best... pack.... EVER!!! January 10, 2011
so, i got the Gregory Baltoro 70 about 2 years ago for a hike along the Lost Coast. i have to say, this is the best pack i have ever used.

Pros:
-extraordinarily durable
-large capacity
-water-bladder pouch is highly useful
-multiple compartments large enough for all that you need (one on each side of main compartment, one on the top flap, one on the front)
-the main compartment is large and divided into the top section and the lower (which can be accessed by a separate flap), but if you only want to have it have one HUGE compartment, you can unhook the cloth divider and have more space available
-very comfortable
-EXTREMELY adjustable
-lots of compression straps to cinch everything down

cons:
-none at all

in all honesty, this is a great pack. yes, it's expensive, but it is WELL worth the money. it can carry all that you need and more, stays comfortable even after days of hiking, and will last for years without any problem.

overall, a great product

Love the space and accessibility. Very comfortable and durable. External pockets make quick access a breeze, and the bottle holder is a must-have!! Best pack I've ever owned by far!!

Stunning July 1, 2009
This pack is absolutely stunning. Perfectly designed for maximum storage space. The main compartment stretches from top to bottom with plenty of quick stow-away pockets throughout the pack. Great. Because of this pack, I am now dedicated buying to Gregory Packs only, period.

Discontinued! :(
Just an FYI, the Baltoro 70 has been discontinued (Feb 2011), and is being replaced with the Baltoro 65/Baltoro 75. Get the 70 while you can... well unless you want a 65 or 75.

Great pack, killer deal.
At half off the list price, this pack is worth every penny. I love it. Initially I was sold on getting an Osprey pack but the price on the Gregory was unbeatable. Read more
