A slick little day pack,
This review is from: Gregory Maya Active Trail Backpack (Sports)
Whether using this pack on a day hike, trail run or a pack for traveling, the Maya is a breeze to both store everything one needs and keep it organized, accessible and easy to find. It's just the right size to fit all your needs - some water, a heavy fleece or light jacket, travel or trail book, camera, some snacks or lunch, and other odds and ends. The hip belt, shoulder straps and back region are nicely padded, making this a comfortable pack to wear. The Maya is also a pocket lovers feast! There are side pockets, front pockets, top pockets, hip belt pockets, two large sections each with even more pockets. To carry more items, the front pouch has a zipper on each side for expansion and the compression straps expand. And for trail running, you can zip it up, and ratchet down the compression straps for quite a snug, small pack. The Maya also sports a zipper to give quick easy access for filling up one's bladder. This one great little pack.

This is the best day pack for women or children! It would be too small for a man. It's light compact and distributes weight evenly. It is big enough for your typical day trip supplies. It can fit a rain jacket two bottles of water, but it also has a compartment for a bladder ( not included) so u wouldn't need to carry bottles if u have a bladder. I haven't had it in lots of rain so I don't know how the zippers hold up, but with light rain it's just fine, no leaks. The bigger compartment can fit travel guides and snacks just fine. The best part about the pack is that you can pull the cords on either side of the pack and it compresses the whole bag!! That means nothing inside is going to be jossling around if you take this on a train run!!
