Gizmo's not a bad looking figure, it's just that the other Gremlins you can get have more moveable areas on the arms and elsewhere meaning they can do a lot more poses. Gizmo also comes with less accessories.

Gizmo is the smallest of the Gremlin figures which makes sense as he was the smallest in the movies. His figure is only 10cm (less than 4"). He comes with 3D glasses (no arms on the glasses). Someone in the NECA factory before placing him in the blister pack obviously got him wet, exposed him to sunlight or fed him after midnight because he also comes with three little squishy balls coloured the same as Gizmo. They are sort of squishy and about the size of marbles. They slightly bounce sort of like those little bouncy balls you get out those coin glass display things although they don't bounce as well as those. Gizmo's head moves up and down and side to side, well it actually spins right around 360 degrees. The arms slightly move at the shoulders but that's it. His legs are joined together and don't move separately which is very disappointing. Like the head the joined together legs rotate 360 degrees. He can stand on his own but the slightest bump to himself or the surface he is on or even wind will knock him over. You can also get the exact same figure in a box of three Gremlins (Gizmo, Spike and Poker Player). Spike and Poker can also be bought in a blister pack like Gizmo. NECA also has released fellow Gremlins Brain (which you can get in both 7" and 12" exact same in every way other than their size versions) and Mohawk. Brain and Mohawk have the most detail put into them.

Gizmo has a good detailed paint job that resembles hair. His eyes also look quite realistic as well. He's worth getting but he's just not as well made as the other NECA Gremlins figures. My son is a huge fan of Gremlins, and it is hard to find great toys from such an old movie. He LOVES this toy, the fur balls are adorable, the 3D glasses are a hit. He just loves playing with it!
