the grecian Gres
Brief history of Gres, mid-20th century French couturier. Plentiful photographs of her evening dresses and gowns, all in black and white. A beautiful quick read.

Jersey Gres
This small book offers more than you might expect for such a low price. Not much text, but pictures abound. There is a chronology at the back that correlates to the pictures throughout but you have to flip back and forth which is annoying. But again, a good starter or basic resource book on Gres.

I knew the book would be small but for the price I paid and the other prices listed this book is too small. Its the size of a victorias secret sale book ya know the thin ones that are 3/4th's the size of their normal catalog. I have been trying to buy every book I can find on Madame Gres. I understand information is limited which this book is light on but even the images arent that great. I was expecting a nice coffee table book not something I could put in my purse. If this book was $15 I wouldnt haven been so disappointed.
