Brutal Combination of Beats and Dope Progressive Lyrics,
This review is from: Grey Crow (Audio CD)
Many have said this does not sound like Eligh....what???? This is Eligh at his finest, he has evolved into such a great musician. I like his other albums a lot also but this one seems to be the most diversified and pressing new boundaries. Every track on this album differs from the other whether its the message or the speed at which the lyrics are recited. Also not to mention Eligh makes most if not all of his own beats and along with the artists he has featured on here: Brother Ali, Pigeon John,Zumbi,Slug, Inspired Flight, and some of the LL's (Scarub, Lucky). Nasty production and musicianship of some Real Music. My hat goes off to Eligh for battling through addiction and putting out this an album of this integrity. Big Ups to Eligh!! Underground Hip Hop 4 Life. True Heads will prevail in the end with a good heart and mind.
