Best Album of 2010,
By W. Stevens (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Gray Waves (MP3 Download)
Twin Tigers creates a full and airy sound. The lyrics are thoughtful, of unrelinquished love found and lost. The guitar, coming in and out of stormy to at times dream-like tremors, with incredible drumming, both when it is present and in the right places, when it it absent, and a bass sound that resonates make for a delightful infusion. While the album in general is very dynamic, the ability of the individual songs to change pace and attitude creates dramatic tension that leaves you wanting more. They are amazing live, and am pleased to hear that their studio album does not disappoint. Highly recommend.

Amazing Debut LP,

This review is from: Gray Waves (MP3 Download)
Twin Tigers have delivered one of the best debut LPs that I've heard in a long while. Mixing all the parts that I love about Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Smashing Pumpkins, Interpol and Silversun Pickups. I saw these guys open for the Antlers and Minus the Bear and I've been hooked ever since.
This is a band to keep an eye on, as they are going to be very big very soon.
