4.0 out of 5 stars Great Travel book, February 14, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Tale of Greyfriars Bobby (Young Puffin Story Books) (Paperback)
This was a great book to read out loud to my kids while traveling through Great Britian. It was a way of giving them some "culture" of the country we were visiting -- but at their level of interest. When we got to Edinbourough, we went to the little dog's statue -- and having read the book made it so much more meaningful! I know my kids will remember that part of the trip forever. I certainly will. And since we were traveling by BritRail and carrying all our own baggage, I greatly appreciated the fact that it's a light weight paperback.
