About the Author

Jordan Wallens played College Football before becoming a teacher and coach at his prep alma mater. Currently he serves as a Vice President of an investment firm. He has appeared on Fox Sports, been quoted in Sports Illustrated and Esquire, and published in the Cornell Daily Sun, and Pasadena Star News. He lives with his wife Idoya in Evanston, Illinois. College football maybe the topic, but the story here is the journey. Football junkies and the uninitiated alike will revel in this wonderful tale of friendship, good times and a healthy dose of local color. A modern day "On the Road" for the sportscenter generation!

Gridchronic is outstanding and will be enjoyed by anyone interested in a story of passion and brotherhood. You don't have to be a rabid fan to enjoy the book - just someone who appreciates a great story and reading about someone who got out there and followed his passion for 12 weeks in the fall. The text is dense with great references to sports, pop culture - you name it - and you'll find yourself laughing outloud at many of the great lines - and then re-using them as your own. Enjoy!

Very well written chronicle of the pursuit of the passion in football and the memory of a best friend and brother. It was an entertaining read and I would recommend it to anyone who likes/loves college football and well written dialogue. The author's use of the English language is epic.
