4.0 out of 5 stars Worth it
The only reason I didn't give this CD five stars is because there aren't enough good songs. However, tracks 1,4,5,& 7 are so tight it's worth buying the CD just for those 4 songs. Really.

3.0 out of 5 stars Friend Lke Me
Album is so so; a few old school tracts that are decent. But, Pac's friend like me track is the only reason bought this one! It's not on any other album that I know of and one of his best tracks....

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Song on The Gridlock'd Movie Soundtrack is...., October 3, 2009
This review is from: Gridlock'd (Audio CD)
"Never had a Friend Like me" -2pac, the best song, And Dat N**gga Daz AKA Daz Dillinger 's Song before it. also the Jazz/poetry type "Life is a Traffic Jam".. Other than that, couple of songs. but for those two songs worth buying.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's a nice Soundtrack! 3.5 star, November 19, 2003

I got it in a local shop when it sale!
I think it's just a so-so cd but I still get it because of pac and snoop!
anyway, it's better than I expect!

The first song [Wanted dead or Alive] is nice! Snoop and Pac duet, you can't heard more from them together again!
the 2nd song is The Lady of Rage solo, I kinda like this chick after I heard her verse at the G funk Intro [from Doggstyle], this song is ok!
[It's Over Now] is a Nice R&B song by Danny Boy! I love it!
[Don't Try to play me] is That Ni__a Daz solo, I know he is hot but I don't like its beat!
[Never Had a Friend like me] is a Pac Solo great beat and lyrics, 1 of best song from this album!
[Why] is Nate Dogg song, before listen I think it's Great cause I like him, but this song disappoint me!
[Out The Moon Boom Boom] is a Nice song, great beat!
[I Can't get enough] is another Great R&B song by Danny Boy! he got a Great voice, and the beat is Great the chorus is Tasty!!!
[Tonight it's on] Never heard this artist Bgoti, but this song is ok!
[Off Tha Hook] it's not good, keeping singin' the hook and the length is too long!

anyway, it's a good album, with couple great song, if you are Snoop and Pac fans, it's worth you purchase!

This soundtrack is one of the last reign of Death Row and 2pac before his death. Tracks 1-5 starts the soundtrack off well, but suddenly takes an ugly nosedive. I only recommend this only if you want some more 2pac songs and memoribilia. Danny Boy batting .500, by only hitting with "It's Over Now." On the lighter side Dat Nigga Daz had a chance to shine on "Don't Try To Play Me Homey," a personal favoriate. A hidden secret on "Life Is A Traffic Jam" by Eight Mile Road has 2pac featured on it. R.I.P. 2pac!

5.0 out of 5 stars you'll be gridlock'd to your stereo..!, June 23, 2003
This review is from: Gridlock'd (Audio CD)
this is yet another hit soundtrack straight outta the death row camp. there's just hit after hit on here however many people slept on this. i find it wrong that people just gave up on the row once pac died..like there was no more good material to be given from the row....well think again! there's a great mix of r&b and rap in here. danny boy holds down the vocals with 2 good songs ("can't get enough", "it's over now")along with the new soulstress bgotti. on the other hand, snoop and daz held down the raps. ("out the moon", "don't try to play me".) plus with some hot 2pac material no more than a few months old here, this soundtrack shoulda been worthy of a platinum plaque. don't sleep on this hot lp. death row is still smokin!

Don't forget about #15. This song is so beautiful. It's Cody Chestnutt, I don't know why the album doesn't recognize him. The rest of the tracks are dope esp. #7. Buy this album!

1.0 out of 5 stars Ugh....rap, March 5, 2006

This must be a post mortem collection as none except possibly #14 are in the main body of this very good film (I watched most of it for the first time last nite). I think 14 was sung about halfway through the film when the 3 of them were on stage. The other notable one was a short clip of either instrumental or smooth R&B early in the film. This soundtrack is very un-Copeland like (the musical arranger). I guess the score (vs the soundtrack) is what I was looking for...if such a thing exists.
