There are 7 chapters, each leading you through the grief healing process and helps you to understand that you are not alone. An easy read and very comforting. I would recommend these techniques to anyone dealing with any kind of grief. I was sent this eBook for review purposes.
Loss is a normal part of life but getting through it is still treated as a mystical process. There is no real information or understanding of how people grieve outside of self help books. This means that you can be left feeling like you don't know what is going on inside your head. Anger, sadness, stomach ache, fatigue, confusion... all these and more are part of the grieving process but can be mistaken for other problems. In Grief Healing Techniques, you'll learn how to identify, recognize, and process all kinds of feeling and symptoms tied to your loss.
Starting with Ten Myths and Misconceptions about Grief, Grief Healing is seven chapters of ways to accept, cope, and heal.
I like that this book isn't so much about getting over the grief as it is about learning to live while you work through it in your own time There is no set timeline to "be OK" but you do need to be able to live life and carry on during the process.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
What I love most about this book is that it offers helpful advice not only for dealing with grief but for actually walking through it and moving forward. It acknowledges that grief is a process that can't just be skipped over but must be worked through.
*Disclosure: I received the ebook complimentary to facilitate my review. Regardless, all opinions are my own.
