A Journey through Memories,

This book came right on time for me. I "just happened" to have signed up for a Grief Counseling course during graduate school and within the second month of the course, my grandmother passed away. We watched her battle with Alzheimers for several years and it finally took it's toll. One of the assignments in this course was to complete this workbook; lucky me, I had a fresh loss to use and I thank God that He "just happened" to have put me right where I needed to be with exactly what I need!! I still have the workbook to this day, periodically looking through it. I recommend it to my students as they attempt to deal with loss because they have no clue what to do themselves.
If you truly need some assistance and feel like "I can do it myself; I don't need anyone's help," this is the perfect journal. It is self-paced, to be done privately, and you will be processing your grief in your own time in your own way, doing it YOUR WAY, BY YOURSELF!!

I've had a copy of this book for over ten years. I recently gave my copy to a friend whose husband committed suicide. I've appreciated this book and have used it in my counseling practice. After giving my copy to my friend, I wanted another one for myself. I feel it is excellent resource for persons experiencing grief.
