It's a shame that there aren't more armbands available for iPod classics. However, if you're looking for a good quality case at a reasonable price, then you've found the right product.

The Griffin Streamline Armband allows you to carry your iPod classic securely when you are working out or just going for a run. Thus far, I've had no problems with it, and I use it on an almost daily basis. It feels secure no matter what I happen to be doing and is easily adjustable to fit the average person's arm.

I did my research for some time before finally deciding on this particular armband. There were some reviews that the iPod is almost impossible to get out once you've been put it inside, but I found that true only the first few times I used it. There is a particular trick to get the iPod to easily come out (lift up the plastic cover away from the iPod and it will slide out easily), and the iPod will still remain secure. Also, there were some who argued that the touch pad controls are very difficult to access when it is in its case. This is also true until you learn the tricks on how to use it. It may prove difficult at first, but the amount of pressure needed is eventually found. I can browse through my playlists and the like without too many problems.

No one is saying that this armband is perfect, but then again, show me something that is. However, if you're looking for quality and a fair price, then you've found what you're looking for.

I completely agree that this carrier is very durable and secure. However, the major complaint I have is that it's extremely difficult to work the click wheel for spinning to find songs, albums, etc. -- the plastic protective shield is too thick. To try to spin, you have to press a bit hard to get the ipod to sense it and then it often "thinks" you are clicking (not spinning) and selects something I don't want. Forget it if you want to try to rapidly scroll through the songs. Then, when you get too frustrated and try to get the ipod out to do it yourself, it's hard to get out (I suspect this will become easier the more I use it). I am even thinking about cutting a hole in the front of it so I can actually use the wheel! I suggest trying to find an armband that has an opening for the click wheel.

I bought this armband so that I could jog and keep my 80GB Video iPod in place. It works like its supposed to, the iPod isn't going anywhere. Seems to be pretty well-made. I gave it 4 stars becuse it is so frustrating and difficult to remove the iPod from the band when I'm done using it.

I have worn this daily since I got it a month ago. I have had no problems at all. Unlike previous reviews for this item, I have no problem with using my click wheel. My 30GB ipod video fits well and I like the fact that the clear plastic on the front allows the entire ipod to be visable. I bought a Gelaskin at the same time, so it's nice that the pattern I choose can be seen. As for removing from the sleeve, as long as you lift the clear plastic away from the ipod before removing it from the armband, you should have no problem removing it. (You do not have to remove the ipod to charge it.) The armband is also long enough for my upper arm (and I am not a petite woman).

Great product, no problems at all. Controls work good, can plug in thorough the case with out removing ipod. Stays on arm well. Just a good product, better than expected. Don't get sucked into buying a cheap one, this one is it.

this armband is excellent for people with small arms like myself. the strap is completely adjustable. i sometimes wear it on my calf when i do free weights. but i like wearing it on my arm when i run. no slippage and i can still use the wheel. overall excellent band.

This is a great armband! It stays in place while you exercise and doesn't bounce around. A lot of reviewers have written that it's hard to remove the iPod from the armband, but I have not had this problem. Just pinch at the bottom and it slides right out. Also, I haven't noticed any problem with using the scroll wheel through the plastic. I'm extremely happy with this product.

I can't say exactly how but somehow the plastic cover is riped on one side almost all the way . I suspect that the rip happened when I dropped Ipod but it doesn't make any sense it was a short fall.
Anyway I am very disappointed because I thought I had found my armband, only to find out it's cheaply made.

I wear mine on my forearm when I'm at the gym for easy viewing of the videos ( i have my workouts on my ipod).
It can feel stiff at time, but this problem can be resolve by properly wearing it on the arm as intended.
The armband doesn't move around like my other ones due to the my sweaty arm, and I can easily work the wheel, the ipod can easily be removed but I keep mine in.
the charging outlet is easily accessible at home or in the car.

I run to tunes from my IPOD five days a week, two to three miles a day. My previous IPOD armband literally fell apart after about two years. I did some research before purchasing this one and I'm totally satisfied. I find it easy to load and unload the IPOD. I have no problem using the clickwheel either to adjust volume or make music or audio-book selections. The IPOD stays firmly in place and so far the armband shows no sign of deterioration. Great value.

In short, Product has one big problem; It's neerly imposible to navigate the click wheel through the plastic screen. I'm planing to cut a round hole to have direct access to the click wheel. I read the other reviews that complained about this issue and I took my chance. Other than this issue, the armband is made from good matterials.
