The Griffin PowerJolt auto charger allows you to take your iPod on the road and listen to great music while keeping your iPod fully charged. The PowerJolt charges your iPod whether it's playing music or in standby mode, ensuring that you will arrive at your destination with a fully charged iPod. The PowerJolt auto power adapter is filtered and has a replaceable fuse in order to protect your iPod, fits in to any 12-volt accessory outlet or auto lighter jack, and has a built-in status LED that has one color to show your iPod is connected, another to show it is charging.
The Griffin PowerBlock is a full-featured AC power supply that powers and charges almost any iPod from a wall outlet. The iPod shuffle plugs directly into PowerBlock's USB port, while all other supported iPods connect via the dock connector cable. The PowerBlock automatically handles 110 to 240-volt electric service, and features flat-bladed, non-polarized plugs for use with a wide range of international plug adapters. PowerBlock's compact size makes it the ideal traveling companion for business, home, or mobile use, and is a necessary companion whenever your iPod can't be conveniently connected to a computer for charging.
The Griffin PowerDuo charging kit comes with a detachable, high-quality 4-foot USB-to-dock connector cable that can not only charge your iPod when used with a power adapter, but can be used for normal syncing and docking operations with your computer. This unit also includes a detachable, high-quality 4-foot USB-to-mini-USB cable for use with the Griffin iTrip and iTrip Nano, and is thus compatible with basically any iPod, whether they connect via dock connector or USB. All the components of the 9756-PKIT are attractively designed and durable, coming in white, and are backed by a manufacturer's limited 1-year warranty.

This is a MUST HAVE Product for your Ipod. Forget the $29.95 A/C adapter from Apple for which you still need a dock cable. This kit has everything you will need to keep your Ipod charged wherever you may be. It comes with an Ipod dock cable and a mini-usb cable that connects other electronics to your computer(such as a Sony PSP) also. I am very please with this product and you can't beat the price.

Works great but turn up the volume,

It creates an audible white noise, but if you turn up the Ipod volume its easy to ignore. One of the few chargers with a surge protector, which prevents a lot of those battery explosion mishaps.

This works great, and it's something you need if you want to charge your iPod on the road. You can charge in the car, or from any wall outlet... you don't need to be near your computer. It's actually more convenient at home for me to plug it in rather than hook it up to the computer all the time.
