I've been using the case for about a month now, and I'm not too happy with it. The phone has slipped out a few times, so I reoriented the clip to vertical. It's better, but the clip keeps coming loose from my belt. I'll be looking for something better.

Bought it recently but not a fan.

PLUSES:
- It's leather
- Belt clip is removable

MINUSES:
- It interferes with usage of the iPhone. Firstly, you can no longer easily type certain keys near the edge of the keyboard (e.g. return, delete) - the case gets in the way. You can get to them, but you need to break up the flow of your typing and press hard, several times, to try to get them to activate.

- Secondly, when you make calls holding the phone up to your face (as opposed to speaker or using headphones), the case trips out the iPhone's sensing mechanism, so whenever you take the phone away from your face, the screen doesn't come back on like it's supposed to, making it hard to hang up on calls.

- It doesn't look great - it looks okay. I thought so after I put it on the first time, and most people who've seen it have made lukewarm comments about it.

Fits perfectly, has a sturdy belt clip, and all phone functions are accessible. Phone fits snugly enough that 'falling out' is very unlikely.

This case hase been perfect for me. I've used it for two years with my 1G. Now my iPhone 4 is in it, but it's stretched over years to fit the 1G and I padded the old case. Got a new one. The iPhone 4 fits fine.

I do have another case I use when I've got a jacket on, but since I don't like carrying the phone in a shirt pocket, this is the case I like. I shopped and have not found one that leaves the new phone as accessible as this one or that could stay clipped to a belt as well.

Texting is fine in the iPhone 4.

It is very difficult to take the phone out of the case, you cannot do it with one hand. And then the clip is so weak, that if you try to take the iphone out of the case without holding the case with your other hand, the case falls off your belt. In fact, the clip is so bad that the case actually falls off my belt if I simply move quickly! Very bad, my phone has fallen three times, and this product is going in the garbage.

I picked up the leather Griffin Elan Sleeve for the Apple's iPhone in search for a more protective case with a belt clip. The case looked like it offered more protection than the leather Incase case I am presently using on my iPhone.

I like the Elan Sleeve because it has more protection around the iPhone camera lens on the top of the iPhone and the phone fits tight in the case. The case comes with a plastic mask but it does not cover the home button. In addition it comes with a cleaning cloth. The sleeve has a two directional belt clip which can be used vertical or horizontal direction. Being able to change direction without having to purchase an additional case is a great benefit. If you need to change direction you just pull out the clip out and change direction. I found the clip belt clip weak compared to the Incase I am presently using. The sleeve does not fit snug around the iPhone home button and the leather seems to flair up making it harder to access the home button.

I found the Griffin Elan Sleeve for the Apple's iPhone to be a good case. It offers good protection for a leather case. However, the case does not fit well around the home button and the belt clip is weak.

It works well. My only minor complaint is that it only fits correctly when the screen faces out which exposes it to damage. It can be inserted with the back facing out but the speaker, camera, etc cutouts are not in the correct place. They supply a clear screen cover but I do not like them. The case is well made, functional and fits close to the body.

Redleg

I received this and opened it up to find the adjustable elastic armband with hook and loop closure was missing. This feature along with the belt clip were the specific reasons I ordered this product.

Also, the static peel screen protector had tabs on there that were hard to peel off without leaving a lot of glue. After cleaing off the glue, there is no way this will stick to the iPhone screen.

I immediately tried to contact Amazon and they had an email set up to contact the seller of this product, Eforcity. Two and a half days later I am still waiting for any contact back from Eforcity.

I am very disappointed with this product and with with this seller.
