Griffin Leather Case with EasyDock for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Black,Chrome)

The fit of this case is snug and adds very little bulk. I really like the feel of the leather and the chrome trim provides more of a dressed up look. Some cases have a slick feel and others that are rubberized do not slide in and out of my pocket easily. This case is comfortable to the touch, looks nice and slides into my pocket. I highly recommend this case or at least try other models from this brand.

This case is a nice fit for my 3GS and the chrome adds a nice accent similar to how the phone is with no case on it. The leather and plastic chrome look good together, I was initially worried it would be a little gaudy. The top of the case is open which is nice because if you need to remove your SIM card for some reason you don't need to pull the case apart. The screen protector included with it worked very well and was sandwiched between to pieces of pull apart plastic, so there was no adhesive residue. As for scratching the back of the phone I can't say for certain since I haven't taken it off, but it is in there quite snugly so if you plan on taking it out of the case a lot then try to find one with a padded interior. The only downside so far was the price compared to the bevy of other cases available.

This case is probably one of the sleekest looking I have seen and has done a great job protecting my iPhone, but I've owned it now for a year and finally have had to replace it because the leather portion literally melts off when it gets hot. The leather piece is like a sticker with a glue backing. You can literally peel it right off after it's been sitting in your car for 10 minutes in a hot day or in your bag by the pool. Not good.

The Griffin leather case works great! The case is pretty hard so it provides great protection. The phone docks easily without having 2 remove the case. Also very stylish. Makes the iPhone look like a 1970 Dodge Charger. Very cool. If they make the same type 4 the iPhone 4 I will purshase that as well.

I have a case just like this one (except it doesn't have the chrome accents). I've had it for just over a year now but the backing is coming unglued like other reviews have said (the leather is glued onto a hard plastic shell). I don't leave mine in a hot environment, but just the heat (or motion?) from your hand holding it or it being in your pocket will eventually loosen the glue.

Still, I dropped my phone once and it happened to fall screen side down on a bed of rocks (not pebbles-- rocks) and it put a large one inch dent/gash in the screen protector. I feared the worst, but when I removed the case/screen protector I was happy to see NO MARKS at all on the screen.

That's why I'm buying another one-- I really trust the screen protection. I just have to put up with the small flaw in the glue.

I was little hesitant before buying this product because I felt it was a bit high on price. But it is worth the price.It looks great on iPhone.

Great looking case. This is my second one. The first case protected the phone when I dropped it on an asphalt driveway. I could not find it at the AT&T store and had to have it and luckily I found it on Amazon!!

LOOKS great FEELS awesome but one drop on concrete its TRASH!!!! it also didnt fit perfectly and scratched the back of my iphone, so i bought a sticker for the back of my iphone, then it fitted snugly...Later that night i dropped my phone and a hairline crack formed...2days later it broke along the bottom bezel...super glued it and it broke in another place from some unseen crack... $20 in the trash and here i am shopping amazon for a new case.

I have had this for several weeks now, and get many compliments on this case. It seems to be holding up well, and it looks really cool.

The case is very good. Looks good, has a nice touch and seems to protect well the iphone. It surely stands out from the other regular cases out there.
The only downside is that it feels as the case will start to get loose soon. After one month of use, it started to open itself when I try to take it out of a tight pocket or something.
Unfortunately I lost my phone this weekend, but I am prolly going to buy the same case for my new phone.
