I am very satisfied with this purchase. It is two in one: charger and sync connector. I had no problems with the recognition and sync mode. The charge mode is good too.

For the price and not being an Apple brand, i recommend this accesorie.

A friend of mine warned me against getting cheap rechargers for my iPod, but I have had absolutely no problems with this one! It works so well! Fantastic find! (Seriously, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I'm shocked, but pleased.)

For the price, this charger work great on Ipod touch 3G, I was a little worry cause, another review talks about bad experience with the connector, but I realize that this charger was made originally for 1G, so, the connector have a pressbutton, obviously the girl in the review never found it!!! sorry about her Ipod...

Status light start blinking at the end of charge, yellow to green, I don't know, sometimes I just unplug and plug again and ends the process with no more blinking.

Works at it should on my ipod touch 4G.

- Cable detaches so that you can use it to sync or just make it easy to transport.

- Cable is only 39 inches long (not counting the connector length). It barely reaches from the power socket up to the table I lay my ipod on to charge. You might want to measure first to make sure it will reach or you may end up having to lay your iPod on the floor.

- Light on the unit is good brightness. Have had some products that practically light up the whole room at night meaning I can't have it on in the bedroom.

I bought this thinking it would work exactly like the charger cable supplied with my iPhone. Unfortunately, it broke after a few weeks of use (stll works, but one of the little buttons on the side of the adapter connector fell off), and when the cable is connected to the computer, it constantly says "sync in progress", even when syncing is finished. The charging light also flickers back and forth when plugged in and fully charged, which is a little disconcerting.

All in all, after experiencing this adapter, I wouldn't purchase it again, and would definitely spring for an Apple adapter.

Overall, I have never had any problems with this. Since I lost the charger I originally got with my 3rd generation iPod Nano, I decided to get this. I believe there are cheaper chargers out there that work the same, but this one is still good. I have never had any problems with it. My iPod charges just like it would if it was plugged into my PC. I think it will also work with a 2nd generation iPod Shuffle (not sure about the new ones). It doesn't feel cheap, and it charges perfectly.

it does charge. but it worries me that while it does it, the light goes red then green then red and green and red again at 5 to 10 minute intervals. and one day last week i saw it flickering red/green. that scared me. it always did the color switch at 5 or 10 minute intervals ever since i bought it back in january. i had never owned such a charger before and i didn't know if it was normal or not. the guy who sold it to me at bestbuy was no help either. so i dont know. maybe its faulty. but the last time i used it, it charged my ipod all right.

My husband and I both have a 3d gen ipod nano. We travel a lot and do not always have a laptop with us. We also do not take a lot of luggage. This little gizmo can be tucked into a corner of our carry on. The prongs fold in so you end up with a compact rectangle. The only issue I have is minor... occasionally the prongs want to slide down while I'm trying to plug it in. Not a big deal. We have taken it on numerous trips and it has come through like a champ. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

I like the plug that shows a light of charging and when charged. It very convenience than having to turn on your gadget to see if it is full charged.

My daughter has an iPod Touch and I needed a dedicated charger for it that could stay plugged in permanently so it did not "disappear" like so many other things in her room. For less than half of Apple's price I found this Griffin charger. Having purchased a number of Griffin products in the past and having been pleased with all of them, I took a chance. I have been very pleased with it so far! I really like that it does not contain LED lights that fill a room with an eerie glow at night like so many other USB chargers do these days. Simple, reliable, no frills. Exactly what I needed!
