I bought two of these. Only one of them worked and Griffin Support Technician Mike's solution was for me to return the charger to my place of purchase, brushing off my request for a replacement fuse (which is user-serviceable). When I told him that it would be cheaper to buy a generic charger than to pay return shipping he happily closed the support ticket as "solved."

I was looking for a good car charger for my iphone from the first day of its release. Looking at the images of Griffin PowerJolt, I was skeptical of the build quality and I was leaning towards the InCharge model. As Amazon does not appear to stock the "InCharge" charger, I decided to try this one. And I am so glad I did try. The charger works fine. The DC Adaptor and both the cables are supple and are of very nice quality. Amazon.com has the lowest price in the entire known retail world. I definitely recommend this reasonably priced product.

It completely broke after just 1 week of use! Completely broke apart! Don't buy

I've had many Griffin accessories for my iPod and iPhone. But I have to admit that this is the worst!

The cable stopped working for no specific reason after 1 week and the charger collapsed after another week!

This is poorly made, I'm really disappointed!

The only problem with this product is that if you are listening to your ipod and you want to charge it in the same time you'll here a backround sound that is is preaty disturbing

if i could give this product a -5 i would. had a few problems after disconnecting the iphone from the charger, and then it just flat-out fried my iphone. i've been reading that iphones are having problems with all car chargers, but since mine has fried from a griffin, the griffin gets my wrath in the form of a unflattering amazon review. unfortunately, all the ranting and raving won't bring my $400 phone back, but at least i've been able to let the public know. back in the old days, 10,000 iphones would have died before the word got out, god bless the internet.

Works great to charge my iPhone as well as my Motorola H3 headset. Nothing special, but works like it should.

I have had 4 of these chargers fail since Sept 2008 used in two different cars. I purchased it through griffin's website and they replaced the original one quickly after I sent it back and my the replacement failed almost immediately. I was instructed to smash it with a hammer and take a picture of it to get another replacement. They sent me 2 replacements for whatever reason and both have failed as of yesterday. The build quality of these chargers are suspect and I would never buy another product from them. Even though they stood by the product its a shame they don't last longer than 6 months. Buyer Beware.

mine failed after 8 months of usage for my iphone 3g, it's also charge very slow compare with the USB charger that comes from iphone 3g.

contacted the support and they send me instruction to send it back for replacement.

I have a brand new iPhone 3G. This charger seems to work but it worries me that it makes my iPhone get very hot to the touch. The AC power charger that shipped with my iPhone does not do this. For this reason, I'm going to look for a better car charger.
