4.0 out of 5 stars Great product!!
This is the best arm band I've tried so far. The strap is entirely velcro so it can size for large and small arms which is great for my wife and I. the protective screen also does a great job of both protecting the iPod as well as transferring your touch for the menus/selections etc, which was a problem in my previous armband (different company). My only complaint is that...

1.0 out of 5 stars I learned a valuable lesson..
don't buy a sports armband where the face of player is covered with plastic! Very, very, very difficult to adjust volume, change songs, etc while running with this armband. After 3 runs, I just bought a $3.99 one and it works great. Also, getting the nano in and out of this thing was a chore!! Worst thing of all...I paid $11.99 for it (NOT INCLUDING SHIPPING).

Well worth the money, very light weight, comfortable. Does the job for running or working out in the gym. Highly recommend this. Also, great protection from the rain!

perfect for jogging. The velcro is very strong so it doesn't come loose and the strap doesn't cut or chaff your skin. The plastic is easy to manage your ipod through, even during a jog.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great!, December 21, 2009

When I purchased this arm band, I was concerned about two things that I read in the reviews. Not being able to get the ipod back out and it not fitting big biceps. I went for it anyway because I needed it for working out at the gym. I was worried as soon as I tried to put it on because it was way to small, but after working with it a little bit I figured out how to adjust it. It would have been nice if Griffen had of included some directions for this process. After getting it adjusted there was plenty of growing room and I already have a nice pair of guns. I worked out for about two hours and it never slipped down my arm. As for it not coming out after you put it in, I found that if you just slide it in and do not rub the plastic cover on the ipod it will slide out with no trouble at all. The guy who tore his up getting his ipod back out must have had very little patience! It does get damp from working out and being strapped to your arm but it dries out fast. It has worked perfect for me and I will probably never buy a different brand. Get a pair of SOUND-SQUARED "GMS-104" earbuds to go with this armband and you will be as happy as I am.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, September 15, 2009
This review is from: Griffin Streamline Armband Case for iPod nano 1G, 2G (Black) (Electronics)
Anyone who likes to run or skate with music should have one of these armbands for their Nano. This armband stays in place and fits the 1st and 2nd generation perfectly. The whole thing is hand washable too. I bought mine pretty cheap; for only 88 cents then 4.99 shipping and handling. Definitely buy one of these if you're going to exercise with an Ipod.

One bonus I didn't expect- mine is a second generation and has the track wheel. Even in the case, the IPod can detect my finger on the track wheel which means you don't need to remove it to adjust the volume. Most cases that block the water also block the finger controls- but not this one. Out running or walking and it starts to sprinkle? Now you don't worry. The band adjusts large enough for bigger users and small enough for petite users. Especially for the price, it's worth it. One last thing- it keeps the IPod snug in the case but I have no issues removing or inserting it whatsoever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product - but now I don't want to use it...., August 18, 2009

I am torn on the Griffin Streamline Armband. It appears very well-constructed. It does exactly what I purchased it to do. But I don't want to use it anymore and wish I had reconsidered my ipod before purchasing.

It fits the early generation Nanos perfectly. Unfortunately, that requires a lot of material to strap to your arm. Depending upon your activity, like running, it can get distracting. Not Griffin's fault, but mine. I found that after a week of use I didn't like the feel of anything strapped to my arm while running and now drop the ipod into a pocket. Not perfect, but the headphone cord is long enough to work. Better yet, I'll probably spring for a Shuffle model and clip to a cuff or waistband.

All in all, an excellent product that does what it advertises. Potential buyers may want to take a second to consider, though, if they really want to cart their current ipod or if the money may be better used toward a more portable model.

5.0 out of 5 stars fits small arms too!, August 17, 2009

I have never been so pleased with an armband as I am with this one. The velcro is soft and doesn't chafe, and it adjusts perfectly for my small arms (it adjusts to sizes smaller than my tiny girl biceps). It has a hole in the top for the hold button, and the bottom is open to allow for the headphone cord. The iPod will not slip out or get dirty. An extra bonus - the armband is washable. Some people complained that it is difficult to get the iPod out of the holder, but I think that is a good thing as you don't want it to fall out while you're out on a run. I switch my iPod between 3 different cases regularly and haven't had any problems of fear of breaking it.
