You get what you pay for. This was junk. Pathetic performance. Bought it for my daughter who loves to sing. She just received an 5th generation ipod. You can barely hear her voice in the background, and it sounds like she is in a metal tunnel. It does not override the lead singers voice either. Would return it, but it would cost more to ship it.

Microphone did not last a month. My son said it worked "ok" in the beginning and then it stopped working all together. Waste of money.
