5.0 out of 5 stars Splendid for the money!
A fine cover for our Sansa. The feature for winding up slack ear buds wire is a plus! The opening for the Sansa controls is the same size as the controls, thus we have a little difficulty with volume control, next/previous selection, etc. (Actually, the difficulty with adjusting the controls is a Sansa design deficiency.) The unit goes over the arm easily and tightens...

2.0 out of 5 stars maybe try another brand, February 18, 2007
This review is from: Griffin Tempo Armband Case for Sansa e200 Series MP3 Players (Black) (Electronics)
I purchased this item because its recommended on Sandisk's website. I did read the reviews of the other armbands sold for the Sansa. All of the armbands, except this one, looked identical and received highly mixed reviews.

The cover makes it very difficult to use the buttons. It's almost impossible to use the on/off button or the volume control while the Sansa is in the armband. Also, the Sansa kind of slides will in the armband and ends up shifted so that either the forward or back buttons (depends on which way the Sansa has slipped) end up covered by the fabric part of the holder rather than being under the clear plastic cover.

That being said, This armband is very sturdy. One would have to try and rip the part that holds the Sansa (this was a major complaint about the other armbands).

It would be nice if also came with a belt clip (which most of the other ones included).

Maybe I'm expecting too much from type of product. I've never tried any others. However, since it was the only one listed on the Sandisk website at the time(now there is another one listed also), I expected it to work with the product better than it does. It would get pretty expensive to buy others to compare though, so I'll stuck with this one.

Like others have said, the buttons and volume control are not easy to use, it does take a little work. Overall though I think this is a really good product. The player fits securely, and while running I've never had a problem with it sliding down my arm. I don't ever really look at the screen while I'm running, and I can't imagine why anybody would want to. I did however make sure I had a screen cover on my player to keep the plastic one on the armband from scratching. Another really nice thing about this is that it is washable, several of these that we looked weren't.

5.0 out of 5 stars High Quality, February 24, 2008

I purchased this along with the other arm band sold here. This is by far the better quality one, but I use the other more cheaper one. The reason is the other has a clip. This product is strictly meant as an arm band, but I found after use that I don't like something on my arm. I'd prefer to clip the MP3 on my short's pocket or band. This doesn't reflect badly on the product because it's my personal preference. It's too good of a product to give away, so I'll save it as a back-up, in case the other one breaks.

When I purchased this I was concerned with a previous comment that stated, that the arm band slipped down the guys arm. I just want to say that this is not an issue with anyone that has some definition. All you have to do is use the velcro and tighten the thing up. I don't have a problem with it slipping down at all. This is a good armband that gets the job done.

The negatives-

1. If velcro is not positioned right it will irritate the skin.
Easy fix adjust the strap.

2. Like a previous person stated the armband is positioned awkwardly so that potentially the mp3 player could slide out, but I tell ya this thing is in their and it has not slid out on me at all. I run with and lift weights and the mp3 player is in their snug. If it does bother then you then you can put the armband backwards.

3. The headphone wire can be held back with an orange slide in piece of plastic. The wire is tough to get in, and it always slips out while I am working out. I think it is pretty useless for vigorous routines. Overall I am satisfied with this product and I would recommend.

A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Its heavy duty and holds my E280 in place whenever I go running or play basketball. It gets uncomfortable after an hour but that might just be me because I have skinny arms. Of course if you just wiggle it around once and a while, it feels better to have on for longer periods of time.

Good product for a Great MP3 Player!

This armband has turned out to be pretty good. I searched the internet for about an hour, because I wanted to make sure I picked an armband that would be compatible with my mp3 player. The reality is that it can work with an ipod, or mp3 that has a similar design an the one in the picture. I wear it in the gym throughout my workouts, and it works great for me.

Hi!
I would recommend this armband for a few reasons:

It doesn't get uncomfortable if you sweat. It "breathes" real well. It has the little orange bar on the side where you can wrap your earpieces cord to your desired length and a slit to lock it in so that you don't come unraveled during any activity. It has a nice sized back-piece and also holds the player very tightly, so it has no "slip" room for the player to slide out by accident if you are running or lifting weights or....

You can also easily attach your charger to it through an opening in the bottom so you don't have to keep taking it in and out of the band if you don't want to. The on/off button is easy to reach and the wheel is easy to navigate through the opening on the front.

The armband itself is sturdy and adjusts to any size arm (I would think). It fits me well and I'm sort of petite boned, but it could fit any man's arm comfortably as well I'm sure. (Unless your arm is as big as my thigh).

I like it. It works really well for me whether I'm vacuuming or on the treadmill, lifting weights or running.

It is a well thought out and planned piece of equipment for your player.

I think you'll be pleased as well.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke during first use, September 10, 2009

I purchased this to make it easier to listen to my tunes while cutting the lawn.

The cheap plastic peice broke, so I replaced it with a LARGE keyring ring.

To bad they didnt use a .05 cent peice of metal instead of the crappy plastic part in the first place.

Works great now.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheaply made product, August 28, 2009
This review is from: Griffin Tempo Armband Case for Sansa e200 Series MP3 Players (Black) (Electronics)
This product is very cheaply made. The design is good and the size fits the sansa e200 adequately. However, mine broke during it's first use. It broke on the plastic ring where the velcro loops through. Now it is unusable. I will never buy a product from this company again.
