For years, the standard keyboard thickness was 3/4 inches thick at the front lip and our Fat Wrist Pads work great with them. But keyboard technology is moving fast these days and the major trend is towards super thin keyboards with a front lip of about 1/4 inch in height. We've taken notice and worked up a whole new line of Grifiti Slim Wrist Pads in 5 inch, 12 inch, and 17 inch lengths. We are experimenting with a variety of materials to make these instead of just defaulting to neoprene. While our Fat Wrist Pads are made with neoprene rubber with a nylon surface, we're trying something new here and so far it's been well received. We're using Poron, which is another closed cell rubber with a nice squishy feel. We've dumped the nylon surface in favor of a smooth, cool, slick skin surface on the rubber. This offers users a softer feel than the nylon and makes it even easier to clean. 3.5 inch wide resting area for your hands and 1/4 inch high to match thin keyboards. Works great with the Grifiti Deck 13, 15, and 17 laptop lap desk and keyboard platforms.

I like this okay, but was expecting it to be a bit thicker. It is about 1/4 inch thick. I do use it, but if I were to reorder I would select one as thick as the keyboard tray or thicker.

I purchased this item along with the one this company makes for the Apple trackpad. I threw both of them away about 5 minutes after receiving. It is nothing more than a square piece of foam - it ISN'T EVEN THE SAME SIZE (width and length wise) as the Apple keyboard!

On top of that, it has NO TRACTION! Literally, this thing slides more than a water park.

This wrist rest was an answer to my problems. It fits very well with my mac wireless key board. My wrist has been paining for a while because of resting it on a had table. Once I got the wrist rest, I work comfortably all day. I recommend it for others people that have the mac wireless key board.

It does not stay by the keyboard, keeps moving, used tape to keep it in place, but it caused a bulge that made it uneven, when you try removing the tape to adjust, its rips the material off the pad!

With the slim keyboard, I never thought that I needed a wrist rest. However, a friend of mine turned me on to this one. After using it for a few weeks, I would not go without it. There is definitely a positive difference, compared to hours with my hands resting on the hard desktop. As for the pad itself, it seems durable and is easy to clean. Recommended.
