Grill Gripper for Ceramic Kamado Grill Such As Big Green Egg, Primo, Grill Dome Etc.

My wife bought this to go along with the BGE she gave me for father's day. I personally didn't think it was going to be worth trying. Boy, was I wrong. This is an absolute necessity for picking up the grill plate. It is a very heavy grill made of cast iron and the rungs are close together, making it even more difficult to pick up. I don't think pliers would work and fingers alone are impossible (even when it's cold). This grill gripper works great and you will NEVER regret getting it.

OK, no one really needs a grill gripper, do they. That is why we have pliers in our tool boxes at home or long handled grill forks. But you know, this thing really works, makes lifting the grill convenient (you will need gloves to hold it though when the charcoal is already hot because this gripper is a short handled one) and you do not have to clean the grill goo off of it when you are done. And if you can afford the Egg in the first place, the price of ths tool will not kill you.

this works really good for my green egg grill. i am very satisifed with teh quality of the metal used.

We use this tool to grip the hot, or before grilling, very greasy cooking grate of the new Weber Charcoal grill. The tool is strong enough to hold the grate horizontal, to lift it of its four support angles, or place it over the fiery-hot charcoal without problems.

I wish Weber would design a product-specific device of their own. Until then, this tool works fine and can easily be operated bu a gloved hand.

Works Great! If you are reading this, you need it. Makes stirring the coals or adding chunks sooooo much easier.

This gripper is okay. Not quite the same quality as the "Big Green Egg" version, but will do the job just fine.

the grill gripper works great. The only thing the inside edges of grips are sharp. other than that works great.

Perfect. Grips just right, better if you grab the grill where you can get it cornered so it doesn't slide down onto your hand.

I used mine for lifting and replacing hot cast iron grates on my large Big Green Egg... It broke after about 5 or 6 uses. Appeared to me to be quality of construction... the connections for the pin were not strong enough and the pin popped out.
