I had been looking for a retrofit kit to fit to my two gas rings and oven in the caravan and after much looking on the web came across the GrillPro.

I was a little worried about ordering from the USA but as it was via Amazon I thought I could not go wrong. Their service was very good and delivery was very fast with out hassle.

Yes, you need a little engineering knowledge to be able to fit to the gas rings, drilling a couple of holes etc and time to fit it to an exisisting system but well worth it in the end.

The gas rings and oven now light with out having to mess around with matches or pizeo lighters.

My wife is very pleased and that is a great plus point.

I bought this for use not as a replacement but to equip an old commercial gas griddle with push button ignitor. The only issue I had with it is that the wires connecting to the spark lead will arc through their insulation to nearby metal if that presents less resistance than arcing through at the end of the wire. All in all its well worth the money, would definitely recommend it

This product actually does seem to work, however, the "installation instructions" were, in my opinion, written by someone who has little understanding of the English language and/or little understanding of the product or of the basic principles of electricity and logic. There are items in the parts list that just don't seem to exist and diagrams that, to an engineer (like me) just don't make any sense, i.e., the "installation instructions" didn't work for me. If you have a good understanding of electricity and physics, you'll figure it out. Just use the "installation instructions" to light your cigar. If you're a typical do-it-yourselfer, and think electricity is magic, don't buy it! Sorry.
