The bristles on the brush are brass not steel. I have a cast iron cooking surface on my BBQ and the manufacturer recomended a steel brush over a brass one. I thought this would fill the requirement. I'm disappointed in the product description:(
However, the brush looks like a good choice (well constructed/nice size)if you are in the market for a brass bristled brush.
