Grilled Cheese at Four O'Clock in the Morning,

This book is very good for newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetics. It is also good if the child is into sports. It's easy to read and very natural. I was looking for a book that my son could relate to. This is the book!

My son was diagnosed with Diabetes at age 7, he is now 24 and just this morning, at 4:00 A.M. we found ourselves calling 911 with a diabetic seizure. After things had calmed down, with the 5 Firemen still standing in my living room, I told my son I'd go make him a grilled cheese sandwich. He laughed and said, "You'll never forget that book will you?" The answer is no, so I bought it again, even 17 years later it's a good read and brought back memories.

My daughter was diagnosed at age 9 and loved this book. I had to dig it out of storage after her son was diagnosed with diabetes. He loves it too. It is written so children with diabetes can relate.
