So happy to finally have this book in my hands! Just in time for grilling season, this is the one I need to make anything that goes on the grill. Tami has appetizers, finger foods, soups, sandwiches, side dishes, desserts, rubs and marinades, sauces and main dishes like Tofu Italiano, Seitan Ribz, Asian Spiced Cutlets, pastas, pizzas, and a to-die-for Paella. So good!

I have made many recipes and am thrilled with the results. She goes over indoor and outdoor grilling techniques and they both work amazingly well in the recipes. So looking forward to grilling season outdoors, but I know that winter will hold just as much appeal grilling indoors.

Can't really say enough about this book. Tami has done it again! This is not a run-of-the-mill vegetarian grilling book that covers only a handful of vegetables and is lackluster. This is the definitive grilling cookbook. What Tami did with sandwiches in Vegan Sandwiches Save the Day, she is doing with the grill. Grills have finally really gone vegan!

Tamasin has done it again. We always like the finished product of her recipes. My only criticism would be that sometimes they're a bit complicated with lots of ingredients, but I do thing vegan cooking sometimes requires that to really get big flavor. I LOVE that she included nutrition analysis this time. I book worth having.

I love to grill, and I often get asked "what kind of foods can vegan grill?" I even get asked this question by fellow vegans! Tamasin Noyes answers that question in Grills gone vegan with even more grilling options than I could imagine. How about Buffalo Pizza? Or Broccoli and Cheese Calzones? Maybe some Rocky Road Flatbread?

The book starts out with information on buying grills - both indoor and outdoor - and she talks about grill pans and grilling equipment. There's information on how to use a smoker box and the the difference between wet and dry rubs, as well as how to use marinades, achieving perfect grill marks and how to grill foods like tempeh, tofu and onions. The recipes range from starters and sandwiches to main dishes and desserts. There's also an entire chapter dedicated to rubs, marinades and sauces, and there are even recipes to creating your own breads and seitan cutlets.

Some dishes in Grills Gone Vegan can be maid solely on the grill while others have components that are grilled and are then assembled in the kitchen (or the picnic table). There are recipes for dishes such as soups and stews which can be prepared in a pan on top of a grill, which makes this the perfect book to have handy when the power goes out. Most recipes give instructions for cooking on an outside grill, an indoor grill or a stovetop grill pan, which means that Grills Gone Vegan is perfect for year-round cooking.

With tons of recipes and a huge variety of dishes, I think it's safe to say that that I'll be cooking with Grills Gone Vegan all summer long. (And probably event into autumn and winter!)

I love making the amazing creations that Tami comes up with, be it from her books or awesome blog.
This book is such an amazing work, as not only is it chuck full of mouth watering creative recipes, and laid out in such a way that each one is on it's own page/s (A BIG win in my book), but she has also included instructions for both outdoor AND indoor cooking. Wow.
This is a most have for any cook. I am looking forward to a summer full of cooking from this masterpiece.

I'm a huge fan of Ms. Noyes' other cookbooks "American Vegan Kitchen" and "Vegan Sandwiches Save the Day", and while I was hesitant in buying a cookbook about grilling (I don't usually grill), it was a no-brainer that I would get this book because I love her other books so much.

This book is full of great ideas and recipes for grilling outside and inside, or even in the frying pan. She offers a lot of advice on options, different grilling techniques and types of grills. I have a stove top pan for grilling, as well as an electric grill that I don't use often. With the recipes in this book I hope to use it more often.

There are plenty of rubs and marinades that I'm anxious to try, as well as salads, sides and dips. Naturally the first recipe I tried was an Italian tofu marinade and I loved it. (Picture is of the tofu steaks in the marinade).

This cookbook has a great index and great pictures. Five stars out of five from me.

We've really enjoyed cooking our way through this cookbook this summer. For some reason the idea of grilling while vegan seemed difficult for me. Tamasin not only helped me get over my mental block, but provides lots of tasty recipes and clear directions, too. A grea companion to any vegan grill.

I had gotten it at the llibrary and had seen my son pathetically trying to grill something on his outdoor grill.
so, I figured this would be perfect for him to tell him what veggetarians GRILL!
his wife seen interested in it , I saw her enthusiastically going thru it when I gave it to him. It included ways to make these healthy things at home indoors, too. it has some interesting recipes.
