Editorial Reviews

One of the most shocking and visceral New York grind house films ever! Three ruthless criminals break out of prison and wreak havoc on New York City. Their reign of terror escalates when they kidnap and brutalize the warden s daughter at her bridal shower.

Directed by notorious NYC filmmaker Phil Prince.

Prince and his circle of conspirators managed to crank out eye-popping cinema that also works as a kind of edgy, street savvy melodrama. A denizen of the Avon cinemas, Times Square s most sleaze-friendly network of grindhouses, Prince s work stands head and shoulders above the more polite, domesticated grindhouse of the Big Eighties.

Starring an amazing cast of Prince superstars - George Payne, Ron Jeremy, Ambrosia Fox and Cheri Champagne, After Hours Cinema is proud to introduce the work of Phil Prince in this Grindhouse Director Edition.

DVD Includes:

Feature film remastered from the original film elements

Phil Prince documentary directed by Brian O'Hara

Commentary with Story of Prunella film editor Brian O Hara and film historian Michael Bowen

This is how the other half lives. Ron jeremy proves that he is up for a stroll through the gutter as he dives into the real world of drugs, rough sex, worn-out bodies, and sick entertainment. Finally we get to see how trucker women do it! While other women that just do regular sex are able to enjoy their scenes, here probably not. Truth be told Jeremy is a good actor, can be funny, and is a dependable, average joe stud. Jeremy probably took the role because he had a rare chance to star in a movie instead of just another cameo. The plot is about good cop RJ after 3 escaped convicts that do a home invasion and rape, beat, spank, slap, threaten, and verbally abuse some women. Special features has gross-out trailers with painful close-ups that will have you staying away from boiled turkey or chicken for a long time as well as rhubarb pies! Outtakes reveal the drugged out cast forgetting their lines and where they are. After watching The story of Prunella, I was able to forgive anything that happened in Caligula. Please stick to Whoopie Goldberg movies. The video and audio is too good for a movie like this, just don't sit close to the TV screen.
