..unless you order it here. Someday Swiss pop will be big news, but it may take hundreds of years. Until then you'll have to trust me that this stuff is just golden! It's hard to know what to compare it to: I'd have to say this album sounds a lot like the bands Big Geraniums, or Oasis. Excellent singing, catchy songs and hooks, cool accordion playing (but don't let that scare you.) Also, the Swiss language is just beautiful to listen to, even if you don't understand it. It's a little like German, but sings much better.

Absolute superb album. Flawless production, outstanding songwriting and the arrangement are wonderful. Even if you don't know 'Swiss German' you will enjoy this beautiful cross over somewhere in-between Britpop and Traditional Swiss music (but much closer to the 'Rock' side of this mixture). Florian Ast has released 4 albums so far, each one is excellent but Gringo is the ultimate CD ! Trust me on this and buy this album, you will not regret it !
