The OXO Good Grips MagTack is a magnet and pushpin in one. Turn a corkboard or tack board into a magnetic surface by pressing the pin side of the MagTack into the board. Then hold photos, receipts, coupons and notes with the magnetic cap. Removing items from the corkboard is easy since the tack stays put. The MagTack protects photos by securing them with magnets instead of piercing a hole through them. Both magnet and tack have nonslip grips, and when not in use, the pin stores safely inside the top of the magnetic cap.

I must admit that I was apprehensive about spending this much for tacks but I really needed a solution for hanging prints and sketches at my desk without damaging them, so I thought I would give the MagTacks a try. Well, they work great and allow me to pin up my work without fear of damaging it. I also use the tack portion of the MagTack to pin up more permanent work and then use the magnet portion to switch out work as needed. The magnets are super strong and will hold fairly thick cardstock as well.

While I wouldn't get MagTacks for everyday use in the conference room (where they would get lost and stolen) I would recommend a couple of sets for your office and personal work space. I remember thinking that I would never pay $2 for OXO bag clips but now they're a staple in my home and I think the MagTacks are going to be the same in my office.

No puncture wounds in photos of the family or irreplacable mementos! Plenty of magnetic strength for sturdy postcards. Great colors! Great idea! I love the rubber grips too. Cube world will never be the same!

ingenious product! simple elegant solution to a classic problem. I used to have to print doubles of my favorite photos, one to stick in the album to preserve the condition, and one to show off on the cork board knowing it would be have to be punctured with holes. magtacks solves the problems, now I don't have to worry about ruining my photos! also great for tacking other things - but it solved my photo problem and for less than $10. great deal.
