I bought the boards based on their size. I wanted something I could toss in my dishwasher and then just throw into my kitchen drawer. And they do an acceptable job on that.

But, they do have a few draw backs. The little mote thats supposed to catch liquids just isn't big enough to do anything useful. While the board is pretty good and not slipping thanks to it's 4 feet on the corners. It's also not sturdy enough to keep the board from bending on cutting. And you simply can not use this cutting board if you're using a meat cleaver. The flex in the board doesn't help with the hard cuts and anything too hard will cut right through your meat and the cutting board. One good cleaver hit, caused a cut, bending the board, then cause a crack along the cut, which is now a huge germ trap.

Also this size really isn't that useful for cutting unless you clear the board constantly. There is absolutely no way buying this board in the larger available size would withstand any sort of cutting without constant flexing. But this can handle light use for those who do not cook much, which used to be me. But now that I'm in the kitchen much more, I'll be looking for a larger wooden cutting board.

UPDATE:
Not exactly sure what happened. Maybe from the wear of use or the dishwasher, but the grip of the boards are gone. The board slips and moves around during cutting. And the symptom is much worse if it's even slightly wet. Changing from 3 stars to 2 stars.

$98 for a cutting board? Is this a joke? Looks like it is so please correct the mistake. The same board with red and black edge ships for free so Amazon pls fix this mistake.

This is a really great cutting board. The rubber edges keep it from moving around on the cabinet and it's easy to clean.

Oxo scores again with this cutting board. It is a great size for family food preperation, it stays put and does not wander around the counter top when in use, cleans up well and so far stain resistant. Will purchase another one when I wear this one out.

I've had this board for about a month now, and it's perfect. I have not had any issues with "bounce" that a few other reviewers have mentioned. The board stays put, it cleans up in a jiffy. It even looks good. What's not to like?

I really like this cutting board. The blue grips on the side keep it from moving around on the counter. Its dishwasher safe - so easy to clean up.

My wife and I love to cook. We must have a dozen cutting boards, from the County Fair purchased flimsy plastic 24"x20" monster to the tiny 5"x8" poly to the heavy wood block beast (that we hardly ever use). By far, this is the first board we grab. The board does have a little bit of flex when chopping - the rubber side grips raise the board of the countertop just a wee bit.

Pros: size allows for many sizes of prep jobs, rubber ends prevent sliding, built in liquid catcher groove thing (yeah, thats the technical term).

Cons: none found

Recommendation: Buy today. Wait, buy two. Trust me.

I bought a pair of these cutting boards and they have come in very handy.

This is a great and easy to clean chopping board. I also like the rubberized sides which prevent slippage. And for a man who has been described as "hyper", "never sits still", and others things I probably will not write here.....non slippage with sharp knives is vital.

This is great product! Having the duel cutting surfaces is great for catching the juices or scrapping things into a bowl. The board never moves and has excellent grip. Washes easily in the dish washer and comes out ready to use again.
