I am currently a brown belt within Karl Geis Kodokan Judo and this book has been a tremendous help in my training. I am currently using CoC grippers to enhance my gripping strength. This book is a valuable tool in learning different ways to engage grips, breaking them (defense), and different grip positions for various throws.

Adam gives a great overview of different grips and strategies for attaining the grip you want. It is a must for a serious judoka.
