i have never been so disappointed in the quality of these movies. This is the year 2011 and to have to "flip" the dvd over to watch the second half is just plain stupid. It's too late for me to return these movies, but you can be sure they will go in the next garage/yard sale I have. Nowhere on the packaging or before I ordered did it say that I needed to "flip" the dvd during watching.

Looking a gift horse in the mouth... I had hoped these would be new transfers from High Definition masters but The Pelican Brief, The Client and A Time To Kill were all mastered in 1997 and A Runaway Jury in 2003. At least they are all anamorphic - "Enhanced for Widescreen TVs". Since Warner is releasing Blu-ray discs of The Pelican Brief and A Time to Kill, it would have been nice to have given us new transfers of these two at least. The price is right and all four discs are in thin-line cases, so they take little shelf space, but this release could have been better.

This was a gift to someone who likes John Grisham books and believe it or not, had never seen "A Time to Kill"! I looked for that movie and found this collection for a little more in cost. I like all 3 of these movies, my favorite being "A Time to Kill", so bought the collection. It's a good value and nice to have around when you have a down day to just watch movies.

The movies as well as these books are top notched as far as i am concerned, it is a good package and good grouping.

John Grisham's best in one collection...perfect for teaching about law and courtrooms in America...riveting drama...great acting...it's time for a Grisham novel to be made into another blockbuster movie like these are!
