5.0 out of 5 stars Synopsis, June 28, 2008

This review is from: Grizzlies of Alaska's National Parks [VHS] (VHS Tape)
(From the back cover)

This is a breathtaking adventure into the land of the grizzly bear. Watch as newborn cubs discover their environment, see the pulse pounding encounter as a mother brown bear defends her cubs from attack, and stare face to face with an adult Kodiak brown bear. See how grizzlies survive on the tundra of Denali National Park and Preserve. Hike to the falls of McNeil river State Game Sanctuary where one hundred brown bears gather to feast on salmon. Fly in to a remote river on Kodiak Island, a National Wildlife Refuge, and view a brown bear family in its daily routines. Join "bear watchers" ar famous Brooks Camp at Katmai National Park. Finally, you'll travel to Pack Creek on Admiralty Island, a National monument, to a place the Tlingit Indians call "fortress of the bears."

Running time approx. 60 minutes. Color.
