I got this as a guitarist needing an accurate measuring tool for maintenance. This is all you'll need. Don't bother with other venders--guitar venders they will charge you 30.00 bucks or more. This will be all you'll need. Excellent quality and shipping service.

What an amazing deal, the cost of these gauges can not be beat for what you get. Just like another reviewer on here, I purchased this item in order to aide in setting up guitars. The gauges are much cheaper than those on instrument specialty sites and do just as fine of a job. Also, just like the other reviewer pointed out, the set is quite heavily coated in a light machine oil, so the first few times they are used be prepared for your fingers to be slick with the lubricant, but once you get use to using the gauges you will barely touch them and will not notice as much the oil. The set comes in a small pouch which doesn't seem like much, but is a nice touch in that it helps keep the set from getting contaminated with dust, dirt and debris, which could remove the oil coating and in turn cause the individual gauges to corrode. Well made set, Extremely impressed, HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

I bought these feeler gauges to check the neck relief on my guitars during set up. For that purpose they are excellent. Additionally, they are cheaper and more gauge sizes are provided than feelers designed specifically for guitar, such as those available from Stewart McDonald and other guitar supply vendors. My only complaint was that when I received this product, it was heavily coated with a light machine oil, which took a while to wipe off with paper towels. Other than that, this is an excellent product.
