After purchasing the Grizzly maple work top table and the heavy duty leg set ,I was very impressed with the Grizzly line of products. When I did further research I was amazed at the quality and quantity of products that Grizzly has in it's lineup. Having previously acquired a 10" miter saw, I didn't want to mount it to the maple top and take up needed space. The miter stand was a perfect fit for the saw and the ability to fold it up when not needed added to its utility. Actually I did a lot of looking around the big box stores and found several good stands. The quality difference between the sub $100 stands and the over $200 dollar stands were significant. When I found the Grizzly and read the reviews I had hoped I had found a product of higher quality and at moderate price. Not to be. The quality was about the same as the others in the same price class. The stand itself is not as stable as I would have liked and the wheels surely don't make it mobile for anything other than moving it around the garage. As was noted on other reviews it arrived in a box with insufficient packing and a number of the plastic pieces were broken and there was a large dent in one of the legs.
I was however impressed with the customer service when I e-mailed them of the problems. They were quick and helpful in sending the replacement parts for the stand.
Overall the quality is what you should expect for the price and the customer service is first rate.

When I built my workshop, I made a section of the counter / bench lower to fit the 10" cut-off saw that I had at the time. The idea was neat, I could use the whole length of the counter as an extended bed for the saw, that is as long as it was not piled full of projects.

When I bought a new 12" cut-off saw I found it was too wide and the bed was too "thick". I also wanted a bit more mobility such as moving it to the garden shed when I cut siding on it. I looked at a number of saw stands at all the usual places like Menards and HD before coming across the Grizzley in their catalog. It was a pleasant surprise that I could get it through Amazon and at a slightly lower cost.

It is well worth the money. It is sturdy and well built. It has lots of flexibility with the extendable arms and rollers that are adjustable up, down and out. The dual rails are less likely to flex that the single extension rails on other stands.

Grizzley also stands behind it. A knob was damaged in transit and a weld was broken when I received the stand. One brief call and the replacements were in the mail, no questions asked.

I have one minor complaint that the wheels could have been done better. The are small and poorly positioned.

I do not work for Grizzley. My only connection is the hours I spend perusing their fantastic catalog the size of a phonebook.
