I got this box for work. I am a CNC machinist right now and I have been looking around for a nice machinist tool box. The most known machinist brand is Kennedy, which all the people at work mostly have. They are metal, and very over priced. You are just paying for the name.
This oak, hardwood, tool chest is great. Mine has no flaws at all. The color is great. The wood is amazing. People at work are always going over and looking at it and opening the drawers because it is so nice. Also it smells good....you know that nice wood smell. The drawers open very nicely, easier than the Kennedy boxes I have seen. BUY THIS BOX!! I got mine for $149. YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG. The only thing I would recommend is putting in some rubber drawer liner like I have. The green felt is very nice but the tools just slip around too much. So I got green rubber liner at Wal-Mart for 97 cents a roll. I got all the small drawers done with 1 roll. So i just need to buy another roll to finish the bigger drawers. Thanks for taking the time to read this. BTW - even the drawers sliders are made from wood. :)

This wooden mschinist box is a great value. People always are amazed when they see it and hear the price. Super deal!!!
