I was at first hesitant to buy a Grizzly product based on a general sense from other product reviews that their products were of poor quality. I couldn't have been more wrong. Solid does not even begin to describe this product -- it takes four people to move (which in this case, I consider a good thing). The laminated birch top is beautiful and the legs are are solid. Shipping was very quick and assembly was easy (you will need at least one other person for help getting the top on). Could also be used a food preparation island in a kitchen(without the vice of course). The only downside -- it's so nice I hate using it for fear of messing it up.

I purchased the H8362 workbench directly through Grizzly for my small 414 sq. foot shop. Took only two days to arrive in MN from Springfield Missouri via SAIA. The driver took the 384lb. carton out of the semi via the lift gate(I ordered this option for $30) and wheeled it into my shop!

The bench is more like a piece of high-end furniture. Laminated solid birch table with a top a full 3" thick. The bench is also higher (38") which is great for assembly so you don't have to constantly bend over. The two end supports (legs and top cross member) come fully assembled and all you need do is connect the end supports with the two cross supports and your ready for the top. Have a helper as this is a heavy bench. I and my wife put this bench together in a little more than 15 minutes. The instructions are clear, the parts labeled, very little assembly and the whole thing packaged very efficiently in one box.

This bench, if oiled and taken care of, will be around for your grandchildren to use. My hat is off to Grizzly for a making a great bench at a price that is hard to beat. No dog holes, so you can add them if and when you need them.
