Gro baby is a modern, one-size diapering system that is a revolution in cloth diapering. The innovative shell design minimizes diaper waste and cost. Its unique, innovative waterproof shell and organic cotton soaker pad minimizes waste and cost. The Gro baby shell set comes with 1- organic soaker pad and 1- organic booster. When your soaker pad is wet, simply snap in a fresh, dry soaker pad. Gro baby is designed so that the outer shell may be used for multiple diaper changes. Most Gro baby system users will find that using 2-4 Gro baby shells are enough per day, although newborn babies may need more. Gro baby will fit most babies from 8-35 pounds.

I have the GroBaby shell is several different colors and prints. I absolutely LOVE the shell! It holds in messes extremely well. I'm not fond of aplix/velcro type closures, and I prefer snaps, but these are actually not too bad. The soaker pads are okay, but they do often leave my daughter's skin feeling wet. However, most of the time I use DreamEze fitted diapers with this shell, or even prefolds work well. I really do love the shell. It is breathable, fits my daughter well, and I've never had a leak. I highly recommend this shell for use as a cover.

Overall I think the concept of these diapers is wonderful. I like being able to purchase a cover/insert set that *should* last my babies diapering life. However, with an infant I found that when snapped on it's smallest setting, you had to fold over the insert, which is very awkward and bulky. Now my little man is 14 months old and is very petite. He is only 20 lbs, but is on the largest setting. I personally don't feel like the cover will get him to the end of diapering. I wish the rise or settings could go larger and that there were different size inserts for different size babies, which would defeat the purpose of the concept "one size". The diapers are cute, functional and never leak. I find the inserts to be absorbent enough that I never use the boosters. I still love them and would recommend them to anyone, especially since the inserts just simply get removed and you reuse the cover. It is a great alternative to pockets and all-in-ones.

This is by far the trimmest most absorbent diaper I have used, and they travel extremely well since you don't have to carry as much in your diaper bag. I highly recommend these to anyone. However, I don't use these as night because I have a very heavy wetter that sleeps for 12-14 hour periods.
