this diaper is supposed to be one-size, and has the rise snaps to prove it. but i guess rise snaps dont always mean OS. my daughter is 6m and 19lbs, 27in, and in order to fit her properly i have to unsnap the rise completely or its falling off her heiny. even at this size it seems small.
i dont feel the closure is a strong aplix/velcro. it ALWAYS comes undone in the wash and sometimes while crawling around. i feel shell have great success taking this diaperoff when shes at that stage. poop leaks out the legs some, but she usually holds in her poops in for a day or two, so it could just be too much for the diaper to handle. the soaker works great for pee, though. it takes a while longer than my other diapers [BG3.0, 4.0, prefolds, and flats/covers.] but thats to be expected since its an AI2 [shell w/snap-in insert.] i just let it hang dry for a couple more hours. i do, however, love the doubler that it comes with. its a great replacement for a hemp doubler at night in her wool cover with prefold. [though, being cotton, its a lil more bulky. but the contours are nice.] overall, i give this 2 stars, mainly for fit, and some for the leaky poops and closure. the shells are cute, and i love the doubler, though. great concept, just needs some improvements.

I love this diaper. The print is so cute. I like that you can re-use the shell for multiple changes. I like that the soakers are all organic so they clean up easier than man-made products, with less stink issues. They make diaper changes for my 18 month old so much quicker & trimmer than my old system. And I'm looking forward to trying them out on our newborn soon. The soakers do take a long time to dry & the shells have been known to fade if washed in hot, so follow washing instructions.

I have several of these and have 3 inserts for each shell.
What I love about this diaper: 1. Pretty! There are lots of bright, attractive colors and patterns. We have "boy" and "girl" patterns. I love them all! 2. Non-irritating velcro. The tabs are not scratchy and won't irritate baby's skin. They're almost smooth to the touch! 3. Perfect laundry tabs. They fold right over on themselves! 4. Overlapping tabs. If you have a skinny baby, the tabs will fasten on top of each other for a snug fit. 5. Elastic in the liner. There is elastic around the legs to help hug the liner to your baby. 6. Snap-in liners. No more bunching up! These liners snap right in to the shell. 7. Slim in the middle. Cloth diapers are bulkier than disposables. Period. When our baby wears these, I can tell by the way she is walking. They are slimmer than the other AIO (all in one)'s we have tried and I really like that! What I would change: 1. We have LOTS of "leakage" from the liner to the shell with poopy diapers. The elastic helps, but if the baby poops, chances are we are going to have to rinse and change the shell. We don't often make it through a day without going through at least 4 shells. With other AIO systems, we can make it through a day with 2 shells. 2. Taller rise. Our baby is short and chunky. At 15 months old, she is totally unsnapped, so the rise will not go any higher for her. She may outgrow these before any of our other cloth diapers. These were the first we had to go up in size every time she grew, also. 3. Wing droop. With the velcro closures, there is nothing to hold the wings up - the part that is tucker under and around your baby's belly. With the snaps, this is addressed, but the velcro leaves some hanging wings on skinny babies. Our chunky baby doesn't have much of an issue with it, but it could be troublesome if your baby isn't full-figured. :-) Overall, I really like these. Very functional, but you might need a few shells more than other AIO systems. :-)
