I had one problem almost out of the box which developed into a second issue.

First, let me say the product 'does' clean pretty well. The rotating brushes whirl up a mighty storm and will make quick work of cleaning a patio, garage or other hard surface.

Now the problem. The fifth time I turned the on/off water control the knob (the green knob near the handle in the photo) it fell off in my hand. The control is attached to the fairly stiff valve by a very weak plastic shaft that really isn't going to hold up for long.

Now the second issue. Gro-Works appears to be out of business. The company website is gone and the 800 number provided on the Water Broom instruction sheet goes to another company. Ergo, the company can't be reached and the 90 day warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on (although I'm sure Amazon will allow it to be returned if there's an issue).

So, if you want a pretty nice water broom that does what it's supposed to and you're willing to head to the hardware store at some point to buy an on/off valve (or just bypass the control as I've done) go for it. Otherwise, you might want to pass on this one.

Haven't really gotten to use this yet. The hose attachment had to be cut off and replaced. It wouldn't screw onto any hose that I had. I figured it was cheaper to buy an adapter then to send it back. I hope I get some use out of it. I wound up just using a regular hose and stiff garage brush for what I had intended to use this for and it worked. Probably didn't need to buy this and it may not work as well as my simpler solution.

I had read other reviews on other sites, and decided to try it for $25.00. I have two concrete patios, on painted white, the other light gray. Every year, I would power wash and then repaint the patios. Wanting to save myself that tedious affort again, I got the water broom. It worked extremely well. I was very impressed. It removed an entire winter's worth of embedded dirt without taking off the paint. I then tried it on the unpainted concrete walkways. It did clean well, but did not remove green mold. That was recitifed by spraying some bleach on the walks, and then using the broom.
I am very pleased. It does what it claims to do. I hope it holds up over the long run.
