5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality, perfect sleeper
I love this sleeper. I prefer only to purchase Grobags as they are 100% cotton inside and out. Not all sleepbags are, read carefully. The opening is not like the picture thought. It does not snap at the shoulders. It has a zipper which is fine for me. The zipper is reversed, so it closes from top to bottom with a snap to hide the zipper when done. Little fingers...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not what I was expecting from a grobag
We own lots of grobags, and this is the first time I have been disappointed. I ordered two of these for my twins and they were not at all like the other grobags we have owned. First of all, the 1.0 togs that we bought previously were a light/soft jersey knit on the inside and a cuddly fleece on the outside. The other .5 togs we own are two layers of jersey knit---also...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not what I was expecting from a grobag, May 14, 2011

We own lots of grobags, and this is the first time I have been disappointed. I ordered two of these for my twins and they were not at all like the other grobags we have owned. First of all, the 1.0 togs that we bought previously were a light/soft jersey knit on the inside and a cuddly fleece on the outside. The other .5 togs we own are two layers of jersey knit---also very soft. These ones (the 1.0 tog "Gro-ing places") are a cheap two layer of what can best be described as really low thread-count cotton sheets. Stiff, and REALLY thin. Like grandma's threadbare old bed sheets. I can't imagine how this would be a 1.0 tog...as it feels thinner than the .5 togs we owned in the past. Unfortunately I already washed them to see if they would soften up...they didn't and now I think I am stuck with them. We are going to go back to the organic 1.0 and 2.5's we own as we know those are super comfy and worth the extra expense of the grobag name.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not the usual gro bag - disappointed, June 17, 2011

This review is from: Grobag Baby Sleeping Bag 1.0 Tog, Peek A Zoo, 6-18 Months (Baby Product)
Like the other reviewer I was very disappointed with my purchase. This bag is not soft at all and is actually very thin and cold - not comfy like the prior organic gro bags I purchased which were a super soft almost flannel-like cotton. Makes me wonder if this is really a gro bag - I bought the Peek A Zoo - two unfortunately and would love to return them but I already washed them. What a waste.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not as pictured, August 3, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Actuall Grobag should have NO STARS! Grobag has obviously changed their design and Amazon has not updated the photo. The new design has a zipper up the front - very annoying and uncomfortable for toddlers who sleep on their stomach. Returning this and trying to find a new manufacturer of Baby Sleeping bags.

Little fingers will not get this open. The head/neck opening is narrow and perfect for my petite daughter. She is able to get one arm out of the opening on the 18-36 months styles. I don't what the other reviews disliked about the fabric. This is cotton, soft and I have washed several times. Love it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too thin, January 11, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Grobag Baby Sleeping Bag 1.0 Tog, Peek A Zoo, 6-18 Months (Baby Product)
Expected so much out of this and nothing on the end; as it usually goes in life.

Pros:

very nice fabric. True cotton

very long so it would last 18 months for real

cute patterns

zipper hidden

Cons:

too thin; like 0.5 tog; cannot be used with just cotton pajamas; not product for spring/summer transition, more like just summer and hot summer

this is big one-neck opening is way to small. So you cannot have any heavier clothing under. Basically have to use in hot weather or heat up room. You spend 40$ on a sleep bag and you get all these limitations.

I returned the product.
